It is a peoples’ united front organized at the international level that mobilizes organizations and individuals from the local, to national and up to international level to coordinate, cooperate, assist and together fight imperialism and its agents in all its forms.
The IPF is the creation of different international anti-imperialist peoples organizations who had cooperated to form the International Coordination Network in 2022 to against imperialism and fascism.
The IPF is not limited to mass movements or peoples organizations but also draws participation of democratic anti-imperialist political organizations such as political parties, quasi-parties, liberation movements and others into a peoples united front at the national level.
The IPF, being a peoples’ united front, is not an organization, although more than ten international organizations started it. The IPF is a unity of purpose and action bound to a common objective. Anyone who ascribes to the objectives of the IPF and signs on to its statements published on its listservs, website and socmed pages can be considered members.
The secretariat collects the names of organizations who sign on and their contact details for processing and sends the confirmation.
The IPF is managed by an International Coordinating Body which is composed of representatives of international organizations that operate in an unstructured manner including rotating chairing at each regular meeting, creation of subsidiary working groups composed of members not limited to the ICB, and exceptional participation by national movements, among other means.
The secretariat of the IPF may be contacted at [email protected]. At the national level, a national secretariat or point of contact ensures links and participation of a member. National levels are linked together by a regional secretariat.
Any member can participate in activities of the front including sending contributions and proposals for consideration. Participation through international campaigns and struggles of different themes are managed through working groups of IPF members with a lead(s). Regional coordinated and national struggles draw the participation of members of the IPF (that may be subsumed to already existing national coordination or uf bodies) while linked to the IPF at the regional/international level.
The IPF is supported by its members in cash or kind, mainly through their cooperation and participation. But we welcome voluntary contributions through the website.
